Jenny & Neil – Wood Farm Everdon

Jenny and Neil chose Wood Farm at Everdon for their Wedding Day in August, they couldn’t have picked a better day for it. The weather was amazing, we were spoilt with warm sunshine all day (even if it was a little on the HOTTER side of things) but that didn’t stop everyone from having an amazing day, lots of fans on standby!

They chose to have their ceremony indoors making the most of the beautiful feature window overlooking Northamptonshire beautiful countryside. The rest of the day was very much outside, this had been the main reason for them choosing the venue as it gave them the flexibility to have exactly what they wanted which in this case was a very informal relaxed day.

Whilst enjoying canapes with their drink’s reception, they had mini golf set up on the lawn which went down very well with the guests and kept everyone busy whilst we worked through those all-important family group photos.

Jenny & Neil decided to have Host the Roast for their wedding breakfast, this was great fun! All guests laughed lots, some even pulled off wearing the apron so well, they requested to keep it for their Sunday lunches going forward.

The weather continued to be great into the evening, giving us ample opportunity to grab some beautiful moments at golden hour with the couple, we went off on a little adventure around the farm, laughing lots especially when I made Jenny stare lovingly into some old dry cow poop! (I didn’t know it was there, promise!)

The evening gave us some amazing music, Jenny & Neil opted for the live music option rather than DJ, the band were good, they got guests up and dancing within minutes and then didn’t stop dancing all night long. I ended my evening with a sparkler exit and left the happy couple and guests enjoying the summer evening on the patio, drinks in hand.
